THE RESCUE DOGS
PILAF - Meet Pilaf, the beloved doggo owned by Demi Moore. She welcomed this tiny, long-haired Teacup Chihuahua into her family during the summer of 2021. Interestingly, he's named after a tasty Middle Eastern rice dish, though the reason behind the name remains a mystery. What's truly charming is that Pilaf isn't just your typical doggo. He's a globetrotter! You can often spot him on Moore's Instagram, jet-setting around the world with her. They've been seen together in Greece and even at the famous Louvre in Paris. It seems Pilaf is living the dream alongside his loving momma!
MISS MERPLE - Demi Moore has another adorable dog called Miss Merple, a mix-breed. Demi even posted a cool pic on Instagram once, where we can see Miss Merple striking a pose for a portrait. Guess who the talented photographer was? It was Dillon Buss, Demi's daughter's fiancé!
KITTY - Demi has a tabby cat, and there's a cool story behind their meeting. Back in 2012, Demi was at a fancy Chanel party during Art Basel Miami when she stumbled upon this adorable cat. They hit it off instantly. Demi didn't just spot her; they had dinner together and took some photos, and she didn't leave her new feline friend behind when the party wrapped up. Instead, she took her home. Fast forward to today, and that cute kitten is now part of Demi's household, sharing the place with her doggy buddies.
THE RESCUE DOGS - Demi has around eight rescue dogs, apart from Pilaf and Miss Merple. Most of them are small breeds or Chihuahua mixes, with a couple of exceptions – there's a Yorkie and a Dachshund in the mix, too. We might not know all their names, but one thing's for sure: Demi loves them all deeply. She and her daughters take wonderful care of these furry friends, showering them with love and attention.
