KAL-EL - Hold on to your hats, folks! Henry Cavill, our Superman from "Man of Steel," has a sidekick, and he's not wearing a cape – he's a four-legged American Akita named Kal-El. Yep, just like Superman's birth name on the distant planet Krypton. Henry got Kal in 2014, a year after his big movie hit the screens. Now, get this – Kal-El isn't just a homebody; he's a jet-setter! Henry takes him everywhere, and they're practically inseparable. Check out Henry's Instagram, and you'll find Kal stealing the show with the hashtag #TheTravelingBear. And here's the coolest part: Kal didn't just stick to the sets of "The Witcher" series; he made his digital debut in the game update in December 2022! The game devs wanted to give a nod to Henry and his furry friend, making Kal a virtual superstar.
BEN - Back in 2015, Henry Cavill adopted a fruit bat! Not just any bat, though, he named it Ben after his Batman buddy, Ben Affleck. Now, here's the catch: Ben the Bat didn't become Henry's actual pet doing Instagram-worthy stuff like chilling on his shoulder during workouts or video games. Nope! Henry "adopted" Ben, meaning he sponsored him. It's all part of his teamwork with Durrell Wildlife Park which helps out these endangered animals.
MEAT & BAGGINS - Henry had two French bulldogs – Meat and Baggins. Henry welcomed Meatboi, aka Meat, into his life in 2008. Sadly, he passed away in April 2023 after a wonderful 14 years filled with love and adventures. Meat lived his best life, surrounded by people who cherished him. The other one, Baggins, was adopted three months after Meat said his goodbyes. Henry believes Baggins is a gift from Meat, a little wonder who reminds him of his first doggo. Henry shared a pic on Instagram, praising Baggins for being super enthusiastic and always ready to make new friends. He's a bit of a mischief-maker, just like any adorable puppy.
ZEUS - Hey, did you know that in the Netflix show The Witcher, Henry Cavill takes on the main role of Geralt? Now, here's the fun part – Geralt's trusty sidekick, the horse he rides, is called Roach. Well, the four-legged actor is actually called Zeus in real life. So, next time you see Geralt and Roach on screen, just remember, it's Henry and Zeus making the magic happen!
HECTOR - While we all know Geralt and Roach, the dynamic duo from The Witcher on Netflix, but did you know that Henry, the cool guy playing Geralt, has a real-life pet horse too – a black horse named Hector! And get this, Hector isn't just any horse; he's Henry's absolute favourite ride. Check out Henry's Instagram, and you'll spot these two having the time of their lives on some epic adventures.
