WINNIE - Katie often refers to Winnie as "her best buddy" and even brought her along as the honorary flower girl at her wedding, calling her “our sweet baby”. Beyond special roles, Winnie is the constant companion by Katie’s side—cozying up with her in bed, joining canoe rides through Tennessee lakes, and sharing ice‑cream and popcorn during relaxed evenings . Clearly, from everyday life to life’s biggest moments, Winnie isn’t just a pet—she’s family.
# Katie Stevens was born on December 8, 1992, in Southbury, Connecticut, and began performing at the age of 3. She shot to national prominence as a 16‑year‑old contestant on American Idol (season 9), ultimately finishing eighth. Her talent earned her a spot on the 2010 Idol tour and opened the doors to her acting career.
# Her first major acting role came in 2014 when she starred as Karma Ashcroft on MTV's popular teen comedy Faking It. In 2017, she landed her breakout lead role as Jane Sloan on Freeform’s The Bold Type, a critically acclaimed series centered on female journalism and empowerment.
# Katie expanded her range with roles in the horror thriller Polaroid and supernatural horror Haunt (both 2019). She also starred in Bare: A Pop Opera (2013) and headlined the stage adaptation of Cruel Intentions (2015) in Los Angeles, showing off her musical chops.
#In October 2019, Katie married musician Paul DiGiovanni (from Boys Like Girls), and the couple welcomed their first daughter in February 2023. They split their time between Nashville and Los Angeles, balancing family and career.
