Tim & Kurtze Beiner - Marlon Brando's life was graced with two adorable dogs – Tim, a mixed breed and Kurtze Beiner, his grandmother's Dachshund. Back in 1949, while working on his movie "The Men," Brando had the chance to stay in a fancy Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow. But guess what? He chose to stay with his grandma in her Van Nuys apartment instead. That's where he met and fell in love with Kurtze, the little Dachshund. They quickly became inseparable, creating a bond that lasted a lifetime. As for Tim, he wasn't just any dog; he was a star in his own right! He even appeared in an interview with Brando, where, when asked if he knew he was the greatest actor, Brando replied, ''No, Tim is the greatest actor. He pretends to love me when he's hungry!'' How funny and adorable is that?
Cat - Did you know Marlon Brando, the iconic Godfather star, wasn't just a cat dad on screen but in real life too? That's right! He had an adorable white tabby cat that he absolutely adored. The cat's name might be a mystery, but one thing's for sure – Brando took great care of it. Just like a little shadow, this cat followed him everywhere. And guess what? Brando loved showing off his feline friend in front of the cameras.
Russell - In his memoir, Brando shares a quirky story of how he almost bought a chimp. But guess what? His mom surprised him with Russell, a playful young raccoon, instead. Brando writes, "My mom had this awesome imagination and a fantastic sense of humour." Russell, it turns out, was quite the character. He wasn't exactly a fan of bedtime, so Brando rarely let him snuggle up in bed. Their apartment became a fun playground, with lots of chasing, playful fighting, and tickle sessions that Russell absolutely adored. And parties? Russell was the star! Talk about an unusual but totally awesome pet choice!
