Neil Patrick Harris Dogs

Spike - The French Bulldog named Spike who was adopted from the North Shore Animal League. Spike has an Instagram profile where he is referred to as a "puppy influencer." Although it is unclear when the celebrity pet became a part of the family, he made one of his first appearances on NPH's Instagram in December 2019. Spike loves to follow Gidget, and David said, "Spike adores Gidget. He follows her around and chews on her just like a little brother. If Gidget barks at something, Spike will stop whatever he's doing and run over and see what it is. He just follows her around." While Spike has become a beloved part of Neil and David's life, he sometimes leaves little "presents" around the house for his owners. Neil explained, " Well, when it's cold outside, no one wants to take a crap in the wilderness. I understand that. But that's my next goal. If anyone reading can help us figure out how to keep our floors clean."

Gidget - Neil and David adopted Gidget, a terrier mix from the North Shore Animal League in 2016, when she was just six months old, as a gift for their children. Gidget is the subject of many of the family's Instagram photos. David describes her as a show dog who can dance, shake, and rollover. Gidget has a great sense of humour and her Instagram bio reads, "Their kids want pics of me online... who am I to bitch?"

Ella - A Golden Retriever was gifted to Neil Patrick Harris' twins, Gideon and Harper, for Christmas. The family already loves dogs and their latest addition is an adorable puppy named Ella, who was brought by Santa on Christmas morning. Neil shared the exciting news on Instagram.
