LILLY - On March 8, 2022, Rob Benedict lost his beloved companion, Lily, his loyal dog. Lily was not just an ordinary pet but a true friend who had been with him through thick and thin. She was known for her sweetness, intelligence, and boundless love. However, she also had a bit of a naughty side, as she chased after cats, squirrels, and even the occasional FedEx delivery person. Losing her was a devastating blow to Rob, and he has yet to find another pet that could replace her unique place in his heart.
Rob Benedict
# Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Benedict received a degree in Performance Studies from Northwestern University.
# While in Los Angeles, he started performing in improv and sketch comedy shows. Eventually, he tried his hand at stand-up comedy and hosted a popular monthly show called "Die Laughing." He performed alongside well-known comedians such as Tig Navaro, Paul F. Tompkins, and Zach Galifianakis during the show.
# He started his career with guest roles in TV shows and later landed a significant role as "Richard Coad" in the popular TV series Felicity, which received critical acclaim and ran for four years on the WB network. Over the course of his twenty-plus-year career, Rob has acted in more than 70 episodes of television and film.
# When he's not acting, Benedict can be found performing as the lead singer of Louden Swain, a rock band based in LA.
# Rob is Amy Benedict's younger brother.
# Rob is a stroke survivor. In October 2013, he suffered a stroke.
