GEORGE - Ryan Gosling's furry best friend, George, was the apple of his eye, and he affectionately referred to him as the "love of his life." The mixed breed was adopted in 1999, and the two were absolutely inseparable. George even hung out with Ryan on his movie sets. Despite being a dog, Gosling regarded George as more of a unique personality. Sadly, George passed away in December 2016 at the age of 17, but his memories continue to live on. The doggo has even made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
LUCHO - In July 2019, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcomed a new furry friend into their family. The couple adopted a Doberman named Lucho from the Friends for Life Rescue Network, and Eva shared the news with her followers on Instagram. It's heartwarming to see how much she cares for him and frequently expresses her affection for him on the platform.
HUGO - In 2011, Ryan's wife Eva adopted a Belgian Malinois guard dog named Hugo. This breed is known for its agility and protective nature, which makes them a popular choice for police and military forces. Unlike many celebrities who opt for fluffy and playful companions, Eva chose a loyal guard dog that followed her everywhere. Before adopting Hugo, Eva had a troubling experience with a fan from New York who stalked her and claimed to be in love with her. Ryan convinced her to adopt Hugo as a reliable companion. Sadly, Hugo passed away in 2014 at the age of 10.
