How I Met My Mother

Hey there, lovely ladies! It's me, Chip, the best fur friend of Serena Williams! Woof woof! Let me give you the inside scoop on my fabulous life. First things first, my name wasn't always Chip. I was originally called Chester, but Mommy decided to rename me after the amazing Christopher Chip Rafael Nadal. You guessed it, he's a legendary tennis player and a dear friend of my mommy. Talk about being named after greatness!

Let me take you back to 8th March 2019, which also happens to be Mommy's birthday. It was on that special day that she found me at a local animal shelter and instantly fell in love. I was just a tiny pup, a few weeks old, and from that moment, we became inseparable. Mommy always says that adopting me was one of the best decisions she ever made.

You know, being mommy's fur-buddy has its perks. I get to accompany her to tournaments all around the world, and let me tell you, it's a blast! No one can match my momma's talent on the court, and it's an absolute pleasure to witness her in action! But when we are not jet-setting on our incredible adventures, you'll find us indulging in our favourite pastimes. Playing fetch with Mommy is at the top of my list. I tirelessly chase that ball for hours, bringing endless joy to both of us. And when it's downtime, there's nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with mommy! Oh, and let's not forget belly rubs! I'm a sucker for those and I'll do anything to get one. True story, I even had to accompany Mommy on a shopping spree once because she promised me belly rubs. Can you believe it? But you know what? It turned out to be quite a fun day. I got to meet lots of lovely ladies along the way. Who knew shopping could bring so much happiness?

Here's a little secret about me - I'm a certified therapy dog! I absolutely love visiting hospitals and schools to spread joy and bring smiles to people's faces. I'm a huge fan of the Serena Williams Foundation, and I've helped raise money for this incredible organisation. Being there for others, offering a cuddle or a listening ear, brings me immense happiness. This is what I live for!
