MARCO - Sharon’s resident snuggle king. He lives for lounging by her side, soaking up every ounce of love. If there’s lap available, Marco is already there, making it impossible to resist inviting him to stay.
# Sharon was born in Detroit but moved to California when she was really young. She loved dancing (especially ballet and jazz) and later became a model. At 17, she even went to Japan for a modeling gig!
# She kicked off her acting career in the late '80s, landing roles in soap operas like General Hospital and As the World Turns. She also popped up in shows like 90210 and Cheers.
# In 1994, she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Sharon Newman — and fans have loved her ever since! It’s her most iconic role to date.
# Sharon won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1999 for her work on Y&R. She’s been nominated multiple times over the years and also picked up other soap awards — so yeah, she’s kind of a big deal in daytime TV.
# In 2010, she launched a jewelry line called “Pomp” with her stylist friend. It was sold on QVC and had some stylish, trendy pieces.
#She was married to Sandy Corzine for a couple of years. And fun fact — she was the first soap actress to be on the cover of FHM magazine back in 2001!
