BUTKUS STALLONE - Butkus, a bullmastiff, was Stallone's cherished companion and best furry friend. He is named after Stallone's favourite football player Dick Butkus, known as the ""fiercest football player"". During a tough financial time, Stallone had to sell Butkus for just $40. But don't worry, there's a happy ending!
Stallone managed to repurchase him for $15,000. Butkus even had a role in two of the Rocky movies, "Rocky" and "Rocky II." Sadly, Butkus passed away from a heart attack in 1981, but Stallone's love for him endures, as the actor still keeps Butkus as his computer wallpaper.
PHOEBE - In 2013, Sylvester Stallone's beloved family dog, Phoebe, went missing. Stallone was deeply worried and decided to offer a reward of $10,000 to anyone who could bring her back safely. Tragically, she was found dead near Stallone's home, having fallen victim to a coyote attack.
DWIGHT - Currently, Sylvester Stallone has one dog named Dwight, a Rottweiler he adopted in August 2022. However, there were some rumours swirling around that the dog might have had something to do with the end of his 25-year marriage to Jennifer Flavin. These rumours were so intense that the couple actually filed for divorce at the end of August. It's quite interesting how something as innocent as adopting a dog can sometimes create such big waves in the lives of people.
