PEPE

LEVI - Tim Burton's furry companion, Levi, is a Jack Russell Terrier, and their unbreakable bond fuels Burton's creative spark. Together, they made a charming appearance at the Rome Film Fest 2021, showing the world that inspiration knows no bounds – even in the company of a four-legged friend!
PEPE - Pepe was a rescue dog. The animated dog Sparky in Burton's 2012 film Frankenweenie was directly inspired by Pepe. Tim said that the dog Sparky looks nothing like Pepe, but the ""spirit"" of the relationship between Victor and Sparky is very much the same as with his own dog. Despite Pepe's expected short life due to illness, his presence created a strong connection with Burton. This experience led Burton to explore themes of love, loss, and the concept of mortality, which are often present in his storytelling.
