LEPSHI - A Bracco Italiano named Lepshi won his breed's debut at the United States' most prestigious dog show. It's not just dog lovers who will remember this - Lepshi, pronounced LEEP'-she, is co-owned by country music and Tim McGraw. Lepshi and eight other examples of his handsome Italian hunting breed took their turns in the ring at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.
STROMBOLI - McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, have a number of bracchi at home and often feature them in their social media posts. In a video from 2020, one of the couple's daughters sings high notes while a bracco howls along. "Stromboli is happy that Maggie is home from college!!!!!" McGraw wrote at the time. A message was sent on Tuesday to a representative for him about Lepshi's groundbreaking Westminster win.
